CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES
Know the landed cost.
International bulk sourcing requires a clear agreement on freight, duty, tax, clearance and importer responsibilities.
LEATHER WITH PURPOSE. PARTNERSHIPS WITH SUBSTANCE.01
Confirm the trade terms
Your quotation should name the destination, shipping service and agreed Incoterms where applicable. Duties, import taxes and clearance fees may be additional to product and freight pricing.
02
Prepare the documentation
Confirm manufacturing origin, invoice descriptions, quantities and required export or import documents before shipment. Actual origin must be distinguished from legal registration and operating location.
03
Review local requirements
Import rules vary by destination and shipment. Work with your customs broker or adviser to confirm classification, required records and landed costs. Do not infer a duty-free or tax-inclusive commitment from the catalog.
